          When starting a new journey with a field full of options to choose from, the creativity that can stem from that is en dless.  Not only do you have the chance to put your ideas that you’ve already though t  of to  life,  but you also have the chance to branch out from thos e ideas and  let your creative juices flow.  Letting your creativity take over at the most spontaneous of moments can lead to the most incredible creations.        After having done multiple essays, used different programs, and completed different types of assignments , I now know how I want to do my portfolio.  I have come to the decision of working on my portfolio independently.        My initial impression of both the programs was that they were both very intimidating.  They both have a lot of  options in order to make your film or magazine  very  detail oriented in order to gr ab the reader/audiences’ attention and to get the message across.  I was more blown away after having got ten  the chance to use both programs because the lengths these programs allow you to go is incredible and perfect for the person using those programs to construct their video or magazine to  their heart’s desire.  And with the help of these programs, “ Stories have power, and the stories we tell today do just as much to try to explain our world as did the myths of so long ago,” (Source 1).       My initial impression whenever I would read a magazine  is completely different to how I read a magazine now.  When I would read a magazine before I knew how to analyze  one,  I wouldn’t even read it. I would never just read magazines, I would only ever  pick one up if I was in a waiting room somewhere and there happened to be one so I would flip through and barely read any of the articles and just flipped through the pictures.  Although now that I’ve learned how to analyze a magazine and search for  details,  I now know that there are so many subtle hints tha t tie the magazine and the topics they’re discussing together.  For example, the “Rolling Stones” magazine gives us this message of  “Lil Baby’s Uprising” by angling the picture making a play on words and grabbing the  reader's  attention.   The next discovery I made when taking a better look and analyzed the magazines wa s the impact of the cove...
