    It has been a couple days since my first update on my portfolio project, and since having uploaded that first update, I have come to a conclusion to my specified subject. As I have said before, I want to do my own take, a Florida version, of the conservationists. My biggest struggle was coming to a conclusion on what specific topic I wanted to cover for my feature article. But after talking about it with my peers and doing more  research, I have decided to do a Covid article.     Specifically what I will be doing for my Covid feature article is I will be going to a local park near me and I will write about the things people can/are doing in-order to stay close to nature while also staying safe due to Covid. I am hoping to get an interview with one or two people, possibly a runner and/or fisher in the park, and ask them about how Covid has affected them, their transition to being back in nature and the things they do to stay safe.

     Since completing my preliminary layout, my idea, inspiration, and whole concept for my portfolio has completely changed. In the beginning I was still very unsure as to what I specifically wanted to do for my project. I was narrowed down to a project on species native to Florida and for this issue it would be Sarasota as the feature article. But since then, I have changed my concept almost entirely and feel a lot more confident and excited about my idea.     My new concept for my portfolio project stays close to my original concept of nature. But for my magazine I decided to somewhat mirror an existing magazine and make my own version of it. And that magazine would be the New York State Conservationist.        Working on the storyboard was a great way to not only get started on my concept for my magazine, but it overall helped me narrow down specifically what I want to do for my magazine and how to organize thos e ideas. It was challenging at times because till now I still don’t know exactly everything I want to write about word for word and I’m not  set-in  stone  on any pictures or finalized any assets to my magazine. But what I did enjoy was that this storyboard helped  with the ideas I  knew I wanted to incorporate into the magazine  because having them  put down on  paper   let  me  know to use them  later .  And one of the articles made me realize that the storybo arding helped increase some of my skills.
